Overwintered island-paired queens

I also offer a limited number of overwintered island mated queens. These queens originate from the previous season and are bred and mated under the same controlled conditions as our other island mated queens.

Robust and viable queens

After the season, they are overwintered side by side in large, strong bee families where they undergo the same treatment and disease prevention as the rest of our bees. This process ensures robust and viable queens that are ready for a strong start in the new spring.

Suitable for the production of F1 queens

Overwintered queens are particularly suitable for the production of F1 queens and provide a stable and reliable start to the beekeeping season. As quantities are limited, it is recommended to order well in advance - preferably before the end of the season - for delivery the following year.
